In 2020, former agency planners Kate Merritt and Laura Braithwaite, took the bold leap to leave their agency jobs and launch a modern approach to recruitment in the media and marketing industry. Frustrated with the slow and costly talent acquisition process they encountered in their agency careers they founded Liberty Hive, an innovative tech-driven platform designed to connect vetted and experienced communications professionals with forward-thinking companies.

In 2024, they expanded the Liberty Hive team by partnering with Deborah and Greg Broadbent, founders of VisionFR, specialists in Finance, HR, and Operations recruitment, as well as former agency Finance and Commercial Directors. This partnership strengthens Liberty Hive’s ability to serve clients across all communications roles and industries. With decades of combined experience in creative and media agencies, their team is well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of today’s market.

Continuing their commitment to innovation, Liberty Hive has most recently launched their Agency Marketplace.  This new platform will use advanced technology to help companies find the right agencies for specific projects and services, streamlining the search process.
