We always feel very lucky at Liberty Hive.

Not just running our own growing company , but because all of us had long media careers.

And if we’re going to be completely honest, media found us rather than the other way round. There were opportunities, companies launching and growing all the time, packed with young peer groups to learn from and have fun with.  And yes we had a lot of fun ! But hard work was rewarded with career progression and always on coaching.

But today is very different. Automation, off shoring of junior jobs, consolidation means less jobs for younger people .

This is worrying in its purest sense, but also for the leaders of tomorrow and companies being fit not just for now, but also for the future.

So we want to help and do our bit.

We are launching First Flight, a new division of Liberty Hive , which is designed for entry level job seekers (18-23 year olds) who want to work in our industry.

The first cohort will enjoy a 2 day workshop, and then a  programme of learning and mentoring to get ready for that first job, and working with employers to place these people who are passionate to work in our industry.

Yes a ‘port in the storm’, but they’ll be 100% ready to go when the weather clears….

Speak at the workshop, just one session at AMV BBDO in late September. Open a door, whether that's work experience, a placement, or that first role. Or simply spread the word.
